Mike Nugent                                 

Mike is the Managing Director of DFH Real Estate Ltd. and shares the Managing Broker duties with Susan Dunn. He is also a partner in the firm, along with Kevin Sing and Peter Gaby. His strong leadership skills and uncompromising ethical standards, coupled with his extensive Real Estate experience, give Mike the tools necessary to maintain and grow this dynamic company. Under Mike's guidance, DFH is moving towards realizing its vision -

Born in Edmonton, Mike moved to Victoria with his family in 1967. He attended Oak Bay Secondary and Senior High School and then Aiglon College, a British American boarding school in Switzerland, before graduating from Brentwood College in Mill Bay.

Mike joined Woodward's department stores in 1976, and was with them until 1989. During that time he became one of their youngest managers, and ultimately was promoted to a position of senior clothing buyer. Great experience was gained in this position as he was responsible for all his departments' 25 store locations' inventory and promotions. Extensive travel throughout North America and Asia provided an ample training ground for business negotiations, and product sourcing.

In the early 1990's, Mike moved on to the Real Estate world where he partnered in developing the very successful 55-unit Pebble Beach waterfront Townhome project located in the Qualicum Beach region of Vancouver Island. With a very hands on approach, Mike was involved with all aspects of planning, rezoning, and selection of both consultants and trades, and the project was awarded Provincial Georgie awards recognizing its quality and uniqueness. After its conclusion, Mike received his Real Estate License, and has been helping people buy and sell residential, commercial and revenue real estate. From condominiums to building lots, project marketing, and multifamily revenue buildings, Mike has experienced all aspects of the Real Estate market.  Mike has many happy clients who he has helped to reach their Real Estate goals.

Continuing education is very important in the ever changing Real Estate market, and Mike has continued to update his education courses - both throughout the Victoria Real Estate board and outside of it - for legal update courses to commercial property courses.

Mike is a big believer in the long standing Golden Rule policy that has stood the test of time at DFH Real Estate. DFH has always maintained its fair dealing policy to its valued customers, the staff and Realtors of DFH.
